The Worcester Wine Festival will be held September 4-9, 2018
Ticketing and Times
All Tickets must be purchased through the Festival website and no tickets will be available at any event, dinner or the Grand Tasting.
All events will require a printed ticket + a corresponding valid ID. The Grand Tasting is a 21+ event per Massachusetts’ State Law. Be prepared show a valid ID.
There is a paid parking garage connected to Union Station and free street parking can be accessed through the back of Union Station.
Other events and dinners have designated times. Please refer to the Ticket section for specific times for all other events.
All tickets are non-refundable.
No smoking is allowed at any restaurant in Massachusetts per State Law. No smoking is allowed inside the Grand Hall at Union Station. There will be designated smoking areas outside of Union Station.
A Worcester Police detail will be in attendance at the Grand Tasting to monitor your safety. Please participate responsibly. If any attendee is deemed unfit by the Police or Festival personnel, they will be asked to leave the facility. No refunds will be made.
Designated Drivers will be given a special wristband upon entering the Grand Tasting and will not be permitted to taste any alcoholic beverages. If any designated driver attendees are seen tasting, they will be asked to leave the event. Complimentary waters and seltzers will be available for designated drivers.
Lodging and Hotels
Selected Hotels will be designated as the Official Hotels of the Worcester Wine Festival and will block off special room rates for our attendees. Please visit out Hotels section for more information.
Transportation to Grand Tasting
The Worcester Wine Festival Grand Tasting will be held at Historic Union Station in Worcester. Union Station is accessible via MBTA Commuter Rail – please check here for schedule.
Union Station also has a public parking lot (500 cars) attached to the building for attendees who want to drive to the event.
Valet Parking will be available at the Grand Tasting.
Complimentary Food Vendors will be sampling food at the Grand Tasting. In addition, food trucks will be stationed outside the venue and all ticketed attendees will be allowed easy access in / out to purchase from food trucks.
Erb Photography is the official photographer of the Worcester Wine Festival and will be documenting the event throughout the weekend at different venues. These photos will be used on social media and our website. Your participation in the festival grants the Festival photographer the right to take your photo, and to use, re-use, publish, re-publish, and license or assign the photographs(s), or any derivative use for publication including but not limited to: print, digital, and/or any other medium.
In addition, Dana Lane Photography will be providing photography services for at the Festival’s social media area.
Food / Beverage Restrictions
All of our events, dinners and Grand Tasting involve food and wine. If you have any dietary restrictions we recommend asking each participating restaurant or vendor the exact ingredients included to ensure your safety.
All events will take place rain or shine. When possible, weather contingency plans have been made. But if you or anyone you know can guarantee September 4-9 to be gorgeous Fall New England weather, we sure would appreciate it!
